MIES (Switzerland) – Switzerland’s biggest 3×3 basketball tournament, is back in 2024, marking its 10th glorious edition!

This year marks the 10th edition of the FIBA Open – celebrating a decade of inclusive basketball, community spirit, and unforgettable memories. Expect surprises and a renewed emphasis on the impact we can make together. It is going to be a memorable experience! Click here to register.

The biggest 3×3 tournament in Switzerland, which gathered over 1,100 players and 4,000 visitors in 2023, will take place on 15 and 16 June 2024 at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland.

Established as a way of opening the doors of the FIBA  Headquarters to the surrounding communities, the FIBA Open also aims to be inclusive to all, allowing athletes of all ages and capabilities to play.

Everyone will find its place within the large range of categories going from U10 to over 40 years old and passing through Wheelchair and Special Olympics.

Additionally, the tournament is continuing to provide the highly popular Family and Corporate categories, which allow anyone to play together regardless of age or gender, and Mini Basketball initiations for children from 4 to 8 years old allowing them to discover the game through fun activities.

For those who want to see the best 3×3 players in Switzerland, the Elite Women and the 3×3 Swiss Tour will also stop by for the most competitive 3×3 competitions in Switzerland.

Despite being the 7th largest 3×3 basketball tournament in the world, the FIBA Open is first and foremost a fundraising event. All proceeds collected during the event will be donated to the Basketball Artists School, a Namibian social project supported by the FIBA Foundation.

Come and join us at the FIBA  Headquarters whether it is to compete on the court, learn about the history of basketball, volunteer, or just enjoy the atmosphere!
