New Delhi: In the coming months, astronomy and astrology prepare for significant celestial events, with a particular focus on lunar and solar eclipses. The year 2024 is expected to witness four eclipses – two lunar and two solar eclipses.

Surya Grahan kab lagega

The first Surya Grahan is scheduled for April 8, 2024, while the second eclipse is expected on October 2, 2024. The total solar eclipse on April 8 is said to be the most significant astronomical event of the year 2024.

Despite the enthusiasm surrounding this event, it’s important to highlight that individuals in India won’t have the opportunity to witness this particular eclipse. Notably, the scientific community acknowledges the rarity of total solar eclipses, occurring approximately every 18 months when the Moon comes between the Sun and Earth, blocking the Sun’s light for a short period of time.

A solar eclipse on October 2, 2024, will cast shadows across a variety of regions, including Western Asia, Southwestern Europe, Australia, Africa, North America, South America, the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic, and Antarctica.

Chandra Grahan in 2024 Date and Time

The first eclipse of the year will take place on March 25th, marking Chandra Grahan. During this event, the moon will be positioned in the Virgo sign, where the shadowy presence of Rahu will already be apparent.

Holika Dahan, the traditional ritual symbolising good triumphing over evil, will take place on March 24th. On March 25th, the country will witness the vibrant festival of Holi, which will be celebrated with colours and enthusiasm. This lunar eclipse adds a unique cosmic touch to holiday celebrations.

The lunar eclipse will begin at 10:23 AM and last until 03:02 PM. In India, however, the celestial spectacle will not be visible, rendering the associated period of ‘sutak’ meaningless. The lunar eclipse will be visible in parts of the United States, Japan, Russia, Ireland, England, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Southern Norway, and Switzerland.

The final lunar eclipse of 2024 will take place on September 18th, bringing an end to the celestial journey of the year. Despite not being visible in India, this partial lunar eclipse will be visible in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic, and Antarctica.

Astrological Impact of Chandra Grahan 2024

All zodiac signs will feel the effects of the lunar eclipse. In spite of this, individuals belonging to certain signs, such as Gemini, Leo, Capricorn, and Sagittarius, might experience a particularly positive influence, potentially leading to financial gains.

These celestial events provide individuals with opportunities for introspection and spiritual growth. In both astronomical and spiritual realms, these eclipses reflect the cosmic dance of the planets and luminaries. Celestial spectacles encourage individuals to embrace the energies and transformations associated with them, fostering a deeper connection with the cosmos.
