Calling the experience ‘incredible’, Ankita said they are secretly preparing themselves to run at high temperatures in India, which is currently experiencing the summer season. “Hats off to all the people running in the heat.”

Milind Soman and his wife Ankita Konwar are the fittest couple out there. Regardless of the weather, the heat, cold, or the terrain, they find a way to stay active and engage in exercises — whether it is a quick swimming session, a long run, or yoga. Through their social media posts, Milind and Ankita have been inspiring their followers to go out there and explore the world, while also making sure to meet fitness goals daily. Combining their love for travel and working out, the couple once again made interesting videos capturing snippets of their time spent in the Swiss Alps. Take a look here.

In one video posted by the 58-year-old actor and model, he was seen doing pushups in icy Grindelwald, which is a village in Switzerland’s Bernese Alps and a popular gateway for the Jungfrau Region. “Pushups everywhere! Desert, meadows, roads or snow. Not used to the weather of minus 10, but doing what you are not used to only improves your adaptability,” he wrote in the video’s caption.

In the video, Milind performed the pushups effortlessly with a thick layer of ice around him, and icy-capped mountains in the background. In the end, he smiled victoriously and signalled a thumbs-up.

His wife Ankita — whom he married in 2018 — is also a fitness fanatic. It is evident from her Instagram grid that she loves doing yoga and running marathons. She, too, took to her social media account to post a video of the couple running around with breathtaking mountains in the background. “We are running here in the Swiss Alps. It is minus 8 [degree Celsius],” they said.

Calling the experience ‘incredible’, Ankita said they are secretly preparing themselves to run at high temperatures in India, which is currently experiencing the summer season. “Hats off to all the people running in the heat. And hats off to all the people running in the cold,” the couple said.

Their message is simple: “Whatever is the situation, keep moving.”

They were dressed appropriately for the weather, covered adequately by multiple layers of snow-friendly garments. If you are a beginner, it is advisable to start slow and run in moderate temperatures, before making it to extreme heat and cold. Milind and Ankita are seasoned runners, which is why they were able to do it effortlessly.

Setting up fitness goals every day, these two!
