Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew made a healthy profit with his opposition to APPRECIATE IT and BLUE LORD on Thursday and has two more recommendations on Cheltenham Gold Cup Day – Friday, March 17th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

CHELTENHAM JOCKEYS

PATRICK MULLINS has been in excellent form this week (at the time of writing), scoring with Gaillard Du Mesnil in the National Hunt Chase and hitting the frame on four of his other five mounts, with only Echoes In The Rain, failing to finish in the first three with an excellent fourth in the Mares Hurdle.  He can continue his fine run and has an impressive book of five rides for his father Willie Mullins on the final day of this year’s Cheltenham festival. His first ride, BLOOD DESTINY (1.30), cruised to victory at Fairyhouse in January and looks to have sound claims in the Triumph Hurdle. Classy hurdler SHARJAH (2.10) rarely runs a bad race and has leading claims, dropping back to handicap company over hurdles for the first time in five years and SEABANK BISTRO (2.50), fourth in the Champion Bumper at last year’s Festival, could surprise and pick up a few points. STATTLER (3.30), comfortable winner of the National Hunt Challenge Cup last year, has decent each-way claims in the Gold Cup and BILLAWAY (4.10), with form figures of 221 in this race, has a great chance of scoring back-to-back wins.  Mullins should give us plenty to cheer on the final day of the festival and I recommend a buy in CHELTENHAM JOCKEYS with Spreadex. Fixed odds punters might want to combine his mounts in a multiple bet.

Recommendation: Buy MR P W MULLINS in CHELTENHAM JOCKEYS

CHELTENHAM 5.30

Since the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle was introduced to the Cheltenham festival in 2009, it’s been advisable to side with those who were higher in the weights. The top five weight rankings have provided the winner nine times from 92 qualifiers for a profit of £42.00 to a £1 level stake at SP, whereas those ranked six or lower were just five from 232 for a huge loss of £166.50 to £1. Horses who ran in Graded company on their last outing have a good record in this race and Gordon Elliott’s COOL SURVIVOR, number 3 on the racecard, was only beaten a little over four lengths when fourth to Good Land in a Grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival and stablemate IMAGINE (number 5)  looks certain to relish the step up in trip, after a running on second to Hunters Yarn in a 2m listed novice hurdle at Navan. Harry Fry’s MIGHT I (number 2) should appreciate the return to the extended 2m4f distance after being placed in Grade 1 company at Aintree last season on his only outing over this sort of trip and we can have all three runners on our side by SELLING DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER with Spreadex.

Recommendation: Sell DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER in Cheltenham 5.30
