SPAR Switzerland further invests in store network

SPAR Switzerland celebrated a new store opening and two renovations, further growing the SPAR brand and retail network across the country.

New SPAR Express in Niederurnen

The highly-anticipated SPAR Express store on Hauptstrasse 52 opened to the residents of Niederurnen. The SPAR Express includes a BP petrol station and a Bean Tree Bistro, promising convenience and comfort to its customers.

The new store provides a wide variety of everyday products, from fresh produce to baked goods and snacks, ensuring an efficient shopping experience. Early morning options, including fresh croissants and Lavazza coffee, are also available.

Additionally, the Bean Tree Bistro offers a self-service option with both indoor seating and a terrace, allowing customers to relax and enjoy freshly brewed coffee. The new SPAR Express store is conveniently located on the main road with free parking, making it an ideal stop for commuters.

Renovated Lido Luzern SPAR Express

Three years ago, SPAR Switzerland took over the AVIA petrol station shop at Seeburgstrasse 1 in Luzern. Now it has undergone a complete renovation, expanding the shop space by 30m² and adding a Bean Tree Bistro. At the end of April, the SPAR Express store celebrated its reopening. The shop, now 100m² in size, features new walls, flooring, lighting, and furniture, offering a brighter and friendlier ambience. Open seven days a week, it provides a wide range of groceries, fresh products, and car accessories, making it ideal for quick and basic shopping.

Modernisation of SPAR Benken

Right after Easter, the SPAR Supermarket in the centre of Benken underwent a thorough interior renovation, reopening at the beginning of May with a new look and also new features. The renovation of the store included energy-saving lighting and cooling units, electronic shelf labels, and a self-scanning checkout. The Supermarket offers Lavazza coffee, snacks, and a variety of fresh foods while retaining its postal services, drink selection, and a focus on health-conscious products. The team is excited to welcome customers to the refreshed store.
